Grab a form at the Interpretive/Visitor Center to begin your winter adventure! Based on snow conditions, you can walk or snowshoe. If you don't have your own snowshoes, rental ($6) is available at the Park Office/Ranger Station. Indoor option available. Once completed, return to claim your prize! -

Snowshoeing for Beginners
We will begin with a brief indoor talk about different types of snowshoes, then move outside for a how-to-lesson and snowshoe hike. Snowshoes are provided. Registration is required and is limited to the first 25 people. To register, email [email protected] before 11 a.m. on February 21st. Please include the following information: program title & date, your name, phone # and number of people attending. You will receive a confirmation email to show you successfully registered. -

Snowshoeing Into the Past
After an indoor look at some artifacts, archaeologists will lead us on a snowshoe trek to locations where they located evidence of a village from the 1600s and a "campsite" dating to over 3,000 years ago. Snowshoes and basic instruction are provided. Registration is required & limited. To register, email [email protected] before 3 p.m. on Friday, February 27th. Grab your camera and a BINGO Card from the Interpretive/Visitor Center, to begin your adventure! Explore the trail and/or the building to find the subjects. You can walk or snowshoe - if you don't have your own, rental is available at the Park Office. Once you get a BINGO ... return to show your digital photos to claim your prize. All ages welcome! -
